Lymm - It's a great weekend destination .. and it's Festival time.

If you're coming from any distance why not make a weekend of it?

Lymm is a great short-break destination. It has an  interesting and picturesque village centre.  There's a fantastic choice of places to eat - everything from fine dining to traditional northern fish and chips.   We have five pubs in the village centre including JW Lees, Hydes and our own Lymm Micro-brewery. There are some  beautiful  walks, plus easy access to Manchester,Liverpool and Chester. The main transport event is on Sunday but there will be plenty of activity over the whole weekend.  There will be a wide choice of LYMM FESTIVAL events (of which Transport Day is but one) and there will be a real buzz round the village on Saturday with twenty or more historic working boats moored in the heart of the village and traction engines arriving throughout the day.

It's all a question of what you are after. We start with two contrasting local hotels.. Click the link to go straight to each website.  There is also now a fantastic collection   of Lymm based accommodation at - everything from a Penthouse suite with a jacuzzi in a Water Tower to onboard accommodation in a historic working boat or boutique rooms in the heart of the village.

The Statham Lodge Hotel

Statham Lodge Hotel is a privately owned & run Georgian hotel, benefiting from stunning views of the Cheshire countryside, surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens and is just over a mile from the village centre.
