Thank you for your interest in Lymm Historic Transport Day 2019. which will be on June 23rd This will be the seventh Lymm Historic Transport Day, run as a part of Lymm Festival.
We are happy to invite old friends and interesting new ventures to apply for a place in our ever more popular event.
The event will – as always - be widely promoted and advertised in Lymm, Warrington - all districts, Knutsford, Altrincham, Timperley, Sale, Partington and Urmston using local press, Facebook, twitter, flyers, posters and banners. Whilst there are no guarantees on attendee numbers, in recent years this has been between 7,000 and 8,000.

Historic Working Boats, Canal Boats
There will be reserved moorings in the village centre from around mid-week for historic working boats. Note Lymm Festival starts on Thursday June 21st with Foodfest. See lymmfestival.org.uk for details.
If you are bringing a "historic" please pre-book via email button below.
Visitor boats welcome with no need to book. You will be able to moor close to village centre but outside the zone reserved for "historics".
If you wish to trade please email Lynnette Crossley below. Two free event tickets for all "historics" plus Invitation to pre-event, canalside welcome reception on Saturday evening June 23 incl free food.

Traction Engines, Steam
Traction engines will be positioned (provisionally) on market car park next to canal as last three years.
Some may be re-positioned on Sunday - mainly to pub car-parks.
We are aiming to enable Traction engines to arrive on Friday if preferred and "make a weekend of it". Welcome reception party on Saturday evening.
Only pre-booked vehicles can be accepted. Please book early via email address below. You will then be sent any necessary forms etc
