"We Love Our Canal" Schools Days
As part of the Lymm Historic Transport event, six workshops for local primary schools will take place from 24th to 26th June. Children will have the opportunity to learn about the history of the canals and life for working boaters on the canals in past times through an imaginative series of activities.
These are being designed and led by The National Waterways Museum at Ellesmere Port, The Canal and River Trust and The Saturn Education project. We are grateful to all three organisations for their enthusiastic support and participation in this exciting new venture.
