Lymm is well situated close to the M6 and M56 motorways, and is a short taxi ride away from Warrington train station.  If you're coming from out of town, then it's the perfect place to make a weekend out of it.  With lots of great eateries in the village and stunning walks nearby along the canal, the trans-pennine trail and into the National Trust's Dunham Massey.  You're also spoiled for choice with places to stay, including the gorgeous Statham Lodge hotel and the quaint Old Post Office B&B.  Or there's the central Lymm Boutique Rooms and Broomedge Farm Cottages with plots for caravans.
