Lymm Historic Transport Day is an enormous festival of fun for everyone from families to dedicated transport enthusiasts.
The unique layout of the village means we can feature historic working boats on the canal, traction engines on the village car park, as well as indoor LEGO and model railway exhibitions. The centrepiece of the whole event is the May Queen Field with hundreds of classic cars, live music, entertainment and attractions, food court, bar and market.
The day kicks off with a transport “drive-in” through the village at 10.30 and is rounded off with a sail past of historic boats at 16.30pm. We have plenty of space for you to park and you can enjoy a ride into the village centre on a vintage bus, all included in your ticket price.
All in all it’s “One Amazing Day Out”. more....
